This recipe was built using the instructions for preparation of "Butter Cake - One Bowl, Quick or Blending Method", from the wonderful site " Joy of Baking"
http://www.joyofbaking.com/ButterCakes.html#One

Orange Butter Cake

2 cups (280g) all purpose flour
1 and ½ cup (270g) granulated white sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (115g) butter
3 eggs
1 cup (240 ml) orange juice

Grease and flour a 9 inch (23 cm) tube pan or bundt pan. Preheat oven for 15 minutes at 375 F/200 C.
It is not necessary to use electric mixer. Hand mix only.
In a large bowl sift together flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Mix. Add the softened butter in pieces and mix well. Add one egg at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add the juice gradually and beat until incorporated. No need to beat too much.

Bake for 30 min.
Let cool to unmold and frost.
